TRICARE North Region

For more than 25 years, Health Net Federal Services, LLC has partnered with the Department of Defense to provide health care services to the men and women who serve, and their family members. Through the TRICARE program, Health Net Federal Services assists approximately 2.8 million beneficiaries including active duty, retired, National Guard and Reserve, and family members. Health Net was one of the first companies in the U.S. to develop comprehensive managed care programs for military families.

TRICARE is the uniformed health care program for active duty and retired service members, National Guard and Reserve members, family members, survivors and other eligible beneficiaries. TRICARE is available worldwide and managed regionally by Defense Health Agency (DHA) and TRICARE Regional Offices (TROs) and administered by civilian managed care support contractors. Health Net Federal Services is the managed care support contractor for the TRICARE North Region.

  • Beneficiaries are active duty and retired service members, National Guard and Reserve members, family members, survivors and other eligible beneficiaries.
  • Providers are health care providers who offer medical, surgical and behavioral health services.
