Warrior Care Support Program
The Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS) Warrior Care Support (WCS) Program provides complete health care planning and coordination services for service members who have been severely injured or have a combat-related mental health diagnosis, and their families. We are here to assist you as you transition from your military treatment facility care to civilian health care by focusing on your individual needs. You are assigned your own HNFS Care Coordinator who works together with the military treatment facility and the Department of Veterans Affairs, and serves as your single point of contact at HNFS for all of your civilian health care services. As part of HNFS’s WCS Team, your Health Care Coordinator will arrange your civilian health care so you and your family can focus on your recovery and healing.
How does the WCS Program work?
Once the Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS) WCS Team has completed the initial, comprehensive assessment of the service member's health care needs, a welcome packet is provided to explain the program.
The welcome packet includes a brief explanation of the services offered by the WCS Team, a platinum wallet-sized card with the name and phone number of the assigned health care coordinator, an appointment calendar and additional helpful resources.
The health care coordinator will make an introductory call to the service member to answer any questions and provide any other information which may be required.
To learn more about the benefits of this program, see our Benefits for the Warrior page.
Warrior Care Support program care managers are available to help services members in the WCS program access care, locate providers and maximize their TRICARE benefit. When contacting the HNFS Case Management telephone number at 1-844-52-HELPU (43578), ask to speak with the WCS care manager.
